Climate Pathways is a sophisticated climate change simulation application developed by Climate Interactive, specifically designed for iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad.

Users can interactively model annual global emissions trends up to the year 2050 simply by drawing on the screen. The app provides immediate feedback on projected average global temperature changes based on user input, highlighting the impact of different emissions scenarios in a user-friendly manner.

In Auto Mode, users can tap the screen to specify peak years and amounts of global emissions. Climate Pathways then calculates in real-time the necessary emissions pathways to remain within the internationally accepted threshold of 2 degrees Celsius by 2100. Additionally, it displays the annual rate of emissions reduction required to meet this goal, enhancing user understanding of climate dynamics.
